Why quartz watch is more accurate than mechanical watch
The two are mainly different in structure. The quartz watch uses the quartz resonator 阼 as the time reference. The oscillation frequency of the quartz resonator is very high, generally 32768 Hz, while the oscillation frequency of the swing wheel hairspring of the mechanical watch is only 2.5~5 Hz. The higher the oscillation frequency, the more accurate the travel time, so the quartz watch has higher accuracy than the mechanical watch. In addition, the mechanical watch has a helix.
